Although our truck consumes diesel fuel, the following snapshot of fuel prices on 6/1/2006 from GasBuddy gives an idea of where things are right now. The price of diesel is very close to that of regular fuel as of this writing:

After having sampled prices in Canada, it looks as if I should count on an average price of about 3.30 USD/Gal for this trip. With an estimated 15Kmi at about 14.5mpg/mixed (85% tow, 15% solo), we might end up spending about 3,400 USD for fuel on this trip. The current exchange rate for CDN is 1 USD = 1.10 CDN.
